Hi everyone!
So 2015 has come from an end and I have decided to do my top 15 products of 2015. These are products that I have been constantly reaching for this year and that are my absolute favourites.
I have placed them in order of when I use them when I apply so they are not it order of most favourite to least favourite. So let's jump in!
---------------
So first up is what I start with, my foundation. The Dream Satin Liquid foundation from Maybelline has been a favourite of mine for a long time and I decided to include it in the list because I love this foundation! It is kind of a nice in-between mix between a matte and a dewy foundation. It offers a bit of a dewy, satin foundation which looks lovely and natural on the skin but it's not too shiny. Also, the shade range of these foundations is brilliant and this shade matches me perfectly. This is just one product that I will always go to because it is a brilliant foundations.
(Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid- £7.99)
Next we have the Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eye Primer. The one pictured above is my second tube of it and I started using this around mid year. I have the original one but they do have other varieties. I love this so much. It is a very affordable eye primer which works brilliantly. It really enhances eyeshadow in pigment and also in wear time. It is very lightweight and blendable. I love the everything about this and for the price, it is super product and a statement for my makeup.
(Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eye Primer- £2.50)
Next is a recent find for me but has quickly become a favourite. This is the Freedom London Duo Brow Powder in the shade Medium Brown. I picked this up just to try it out because before I was using matte eyeshadows to darken my brows up to match my hair. I find this to be a nice and natural powder which is easily buildable and blendable. I also love how there are two different shades in here because it makes it easier to get a good mix to have the perfect shade and the shade range in these products is brilliant so very easy to find a shade to match your brows.
(Freedom Makeup- £4)
Next is the Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shade Creamy Beige 98. I picked this up in an offer and I didn't think I'd use and love it as much as I do. This is a matte cream shadow and I am a huge fan of the color tattoo's in general (FULL REVIEW HERE!) but this one is my absolute favourite. I use this as an eyeshadow base because it is the perfect shade for that. It is just a shade darker than my eyelid but I cover it by shadows and it just makes my shadows stick and last longer. It's a very natural colour and it is such a great eyeshadow base.
(Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige 98- £4.99)
Now onto my the Makeup Revolution Chocolate Bar palette collection. I couldn't chose just one because these are all fantastic. There are 5 in the collection and I love them all. From left to right (on the bottom photo) we have, I Heart Chocolate, Death By Chocolate, Naked Chocolate, Salted Caramel and Pink Fizz. I have a full review on the way for these so watch out for those and I won't go too much into detail of these. There is definitely a palette to suit everyone for what shades they like. The quality and pigmentation of these palettes and as an extra bonus, these all have a scent of sweet chocolate, except for the Salted Caramel which smells of caramel and Pink Fizz which smells of champagne. I just adore these palettes!
(Makeup Revolution Chocolate Bar Palettes- £7.99 each)
Next up we have the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro palettes. There's the pro 1 and 2. The Pro 1 palette is a warm toned palette and the Pro 2 is a cool toned palette. I think these can suit everyone because of the toned shades. With both palettes, there are a full row of matte shades on the top and shimmer shades on the bottom. I love the shade ranges in these palettes and the equal mix of mattes and shimmers. I have been reaching for these a lot because I love the good mix of shades and, as always with Makeup Revolution, the pigmentation and quality of the shadow's are great. I definitely recommend these to everyone, especially people starting out with makeup.
(Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro palettes, £6.99)
Next we have the 2True Wow! mascara.. I think this has been discontinued now which is a shame because this mascara is fantastic. It is really volumising and I loved using it. It has a plastic wand which I don't normally like but I really liked the one on this one because it was small enough to reach the inner and outer corners of the lash line and also the bottom lashes. I wish that I could still get this because it is really great and it was definitely a staple for some of 2015 for me.
(2True Wow mascara- discontinued)
Next we have one of my very favourite products. This is the Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour palette. These are all powders and it has such a great range of contour shades and the pigmentation is great. It also includes some beautiful highlighters and this is definitely my go-to contour product. They apply really nicely and blend easily so this whole product is fantastic.
(Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour palette- £8)
Next we have the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Blush, Bronze & Brighten palettes. These are great for beginners because they have everything you would need in then to start off for your cheeks. I have the shades Flush (top) and Smoulder (bottom). I have been keeping these in my makeup bag because they are just so quick and easy to use because it's all there for you. I am absolutely loving the highlighters in here because I feel they are a great shade for my skin tone. Again, easy to blend and apply. They are really nice and compact so great to travel with.
(Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Blush, Bronze & Brighten palettes- £4)
This is my next favourite, the Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart blush in Blushing Heart. I adore this product and I have been using it for a long while. It is a triple baked blusher and it it lovely and natural. I don't think it is very pigmented and because of this, it makes it really easy to work with and I use a mix of the three colours and it is perfect. It adds a bit of a highlight as well as colour too. I think this is just a brilliant product and it is a staple in my makeup bag since I bought it.
(Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts in Blushing Heart- £4.99)
Now onto the lipsticks. First up we have the Primark P.S Love Matte Long Last Lipstick in the shade Whisper. This is such a unique colour. It is a pink, lilac, taupe kind of colour and I love how unique it is. I have been after a shade like this for a while and this shade is perfect. I also really like the formula of this. It is quite a dry formula because it is a matte lipstick but I feel it lasts a long time. I can't rave about this colour enough. I will not go into too much detail because I have a full review HERE.
(Primark P.S Love Matte Long Last Lipstick in Whisper- £2)
Next we have the New Look Pure Colour lipstick in the shade Deep Pink. That's exactly what this shade is, it is a deep, nude pink. It's a very 'Kylie' pink shade I have been wearing it so much. This is quite a thick formula so if you're not a fan of that then you might not like this but after after a little while, it is comfortable to wear and the colour is perfect. As soon as I bought this, I fell in love. It lasts a long while too and I don't have a bad thing to say about this at all! I love it!
(New Look Pure Colour lipstick in Deep Pink- £3.99)
Next we have the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro lipsticks. I have 5 shades (from left to right), Liberty Matte, Propoganda Matte, Duel Matte, You're A Star and Looking Ahead. Liberty Matte has definitely been a favourite for me and I have been wearing it so much. The formulation of these lipsticks is brilliant and the colour pay off is fantastic. They last a really long time and I have reached for these so much. I do really want to get my hands on more shades.
(Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Lipsticks- £2.49)
Next is a product I have raved about a lot in the past and which I recommend a lot. These are the MUA's Lip Switch's. I have 5 of the 6 shades (from the top to bottom), Persian Plum, Crimson Ruby, Brown Bay, Coral Pink and Hot Fuchsia. These are great because it's a matte lipstick with a matching gloss. I don't really use the gloss because I am not a big gloss wearer but I love the lipsticks. They are amazingly pigmented because I have had issues in the past with the colours not being too strong but these don't have this issue. Again, the wear time of these it amazing and I can always rely on these for a high impact, long lasting colour. I have a full review on these HERE.
(MUA Lip Switch- £3)
Last but not least, the last product in my top 15. We have the ColourPop Lippy Stix. I have the shades (from the top), Mosh Pit, Too Sexy and TGIF. I am obsessed with Mosh pit because it is the perfect 90s nude. I love these so much. A lovely friend I have in America sent these to me and I love them. They apply really nicely and smoothly. They also smell really lovely, very vanilla-ry, similar to MAC lipsticks. I will be having a full review of these soon but I am just obsessed with them!
