Maybe I'm just a conspiracy nut, but, I've got to wonder if this loan is payoff for political donations to the O'bummer campaign.

"Nissan Motor Co. said it will begin U.S. production of its all-electric Leaf on Thursday in Tennessee as part of a $1.4 billion government loan."

We all know how well those other green loans turned out.
