Jungkook reportedly sells his Seoul Forest Trimage apartment he's never lived in for 2.5 billion won

According to a recent report, BTS member Jungkook has sold off his apartment at the luxurious Seoul Forest Trimage complex in Seoul, South Korea, for 2.5 billion won.

Given how they're one of the most influential music acts of the current generation and a global phenomenon, to say the least, it's no surprise that BTS can afford a very luxurious, glamourous life. It definitely helped that the septet was generously given a reported 68,385 shares in August as Big Hit Entertainment was officially listed on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) this month.

While the members continue to reside together in their shared dorm at the most expensive apartment in South Korea, Hannam The Hill, the boys have also purchased individual flats with Jungkook and J-Hope being neighbors at the luxurious Seoul Forest Trimage complex in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. While Hobi bought his apartment in 2016 for 1.6 billion won reportedly, Kookie purchased his apartment in October 2018 for 1.95 billion won reportedly. The 23-year-old singer had allegedly bought the flat in cash, according to The Qoo via Koreaboo. According to Allkpop, The Golden Maknae has now sold off his flat, exactly two years since purchasing it, on October 7, for 2.5 billion won. As per real estate professionals' assumption, Jungkook probably did not make profit especially considering how he had to pay property taxes along with other fees.

Interestingly, Jungkook never really lived in his apartment before selling it. As for the Seoul Forest Trimage complex, which has been nicknamed as 'Celebrity Town' and overlooks the Han River, boasts of many Korean celebrities as occupants including Super Junior's Siwon and Heechul, Girls' Generation's Sunny, When the Weather Is Fine star Seo Kang-joon and Flower of Evil star Kim Ji-hoon amongst others.

Meanwhile, BTS is currently gearing up for their next comeback which takes place on November 20 with the release of their upcoming highly-awaited album BE.
