Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I, for one, am really looking forward to the holiday. For the last 5 years, we’ve always been in Washington, D.C. over Mother’s Day weekend, working at my husband’s event for National Police Week. But, this year, he found another board member to fill in for him so we will get to be home and have a relaxing weekend together.
I’m usually don’t ask for or expect a lot, but I’m pretty excited to have a proper celebration this time around – hoping this will include a long family hike & picnic lunch, followed by dinner out at one of my favorite spots (so I don’t have to cook!).
